Program Drive Characteristics Yourself
Castle’s new Castle Industrial Link allows design engineers to select the software-based performance options for their drive systems without requiring custom embedded code. Simply attach a CIL enabled Castle controller to a Windows PC via the Castle USB LINK and use the CIL software to select the proper settings for the application.

SERIAL I/O
Until now, autopilots and other control systems had no easy means of accessing data from the drive system. They were limited to issuing power settings and essentially hoping for the best; not much different than the engine room telegraphs in steamships.  Castle’s ability to offer serial communication with the motor controller allows the autopilot system to acquire incredibly useful information such as motor RPM, current draw, controller temperature etc., which may then be used within the control laws of the vehicle.
